Scott Gerard

PE, LEED AP

Senior Principal | Managing Director

Scott is a Principal and leads our electrical engineering group with a zest for his work that motivates teams and makes every project an adventure. His experience encompasses billions of dollars of construction in sports, commercial, and transportation projects. As a youngster he was excited to see the buildings his father designed come to life and knew he wanted to have a career where he could experience that. He got his start at ME when he was 18 and was encouraged and mentored by senior leaders all through college. Now, as a key principal he loves watching young engineers grow into their potential.

Scott brings unmatched enthusiasm and energy to his work and feels blessed to have a “dream job that is fun and exciting.” His responsibilities include determining and coordinating the electrical, lighting, and technology systems of a project with clients and managing the project throughout construction. He is finely attuned to each client’s needs and makes communication a priority.

With a comprehensive background that includes design, plant engineer, extensive work with contractors, and being an owner’s representative, Scott knows how to balance practical cost/benefit constraints while exploring innovative ways to create electrical and lighting systems that are sustainable, energy efficient, and maintenance friendly for the client.
