Design Philosophy / Approach

We take inspiration from the ethereal and cherish light’s ability to shape, transform, and enhance the landscape and built environment.

We staunchly determine each project as unique and harness light to tell the story of its time and place – to celebrate its past, present and future.

We collaborate with the design team to create and realize visionary ideas that promote interaction, elicit emotion and develop an extraordinary sense of destination.

We delight in process and the mastery of craft, from iterative use of digital model studies and lighting visualization tools to coordination of mock-ups to make the intangible understandable and real.

We shoulder environmental stewardship at our core to provide sustainable lighting solutions for enjoyment now and for future generations to come.

We listen to clients to deliver thoroughly thoughtful and integrated lighting designs that are as considerate of accentuating architecture as they are conscious to budget and construction schedule.

We strive to cultivate long-lasting relationships with trust as its foundation and look forward to creating a new possible.

Illume, we are a vision of ME Engineers.
