George Reiher

PE, LEED AP BD+C

Senior Principal

George Reiher is a senior principal in the Denver office and has been with ME Engineers since 2000. Not many engineers discover their calling in their freshman year in high school, but George’s astute interest in architecture and drawing was recognized clearly as he set his sights early on an engineering career. He diverted his emphasis from structures after his first concrete design class, then discovered his strengths in lighting and electrical that he has brought to iconic projects such as the T-Mobile Arena and Michigan Stadium.

Now, with diverse experience from architectural design to sub and general contracting, George has a robust understanding of conceptual design development to design implementation at the construction administration level. Having worked in a variety of construction/design team fields gives him a broader perspective of his approach to the work and a clear understanding of people in the industry. He loves the ability to work on amazing projects at ME Engineers and to see people enjoy them.

After hours George is an enthusiastic climber and has climbed all of Colorado’s ‘Fourteeners’ at least once and 80 of Colorado’s 100 highest peaks.
