Alex Jackson

Associate Principal Denver

Alex has always excelled in math and science. In high school, he was especially drawn to physics, with electrical and magnetism classes becoming both his favorite subjects and his strongest areas. During high school and college, he also gained hands-on experience helping family friends renovate and redesign a restaurant. Combining this practical experience with his technical interest in electrical engineering, architectural engineering became a natural fit—and it turned out to be a great fit.

The most rewarding part of his job is seeing the work he and his team bring to life from the ground up. He gets to brag about some of the world’s most impressive buildings and say he played a part in creating them. Every day presents rewarding challenges, and he feels immense pride sharing what he does with others. It’s not always easy, but when a project opens and the results are revealed to the world, it’s all worth it.

An interesting fact about Alex: he used to DJ in college—spinning tracks and keeping the party going long before his engineering career took off. When he’s not working, Alex can be found skiing, camping, and attending live music concerts.
