Principal | Electrical + Lighting

Corey Berhost is a principal and a dedicated advocate of progressive design in buildings. He’s been with ME Engineers since 2000. Corey really enjoys pushing boundaries, and he became an engineer because engineering provides the foundation for making things possible. He has a diverse set of project experiences and skills including project work in interior and site lighting, LV distribution systems, security and communications systems, environmental impact reports, and energy consultation.

Corey is leader in ME’s Sports Lighting Studio and an industry expert in playing field lighting design. He has led the sports lighting design of numerous stadiums around the world, including Wembley Stadium, Wimbledon Centre Court, and Aviva Stadium. Corey regularly contributes to industry design guidelines such as the Illuminating Engineering Society Sports Lighting Guidelines, MLB Field Lighting Guidelines, MLS Venue Design Guidelines and FIFA Stadium Guidelines.

During the past several years he has been responsible for the concept and design of several prominent sport and leisure developments, theatres, commercial, energy analysis and daylighting studies, and residential projects. Corey says, “I get a lot of satisfaction in working with facilities people and operators when we open a project or venue. We take a lot of pride in our work, and I think that shows when the building gets turned over to the owner.”
