Drew Shivley

PE, LEED AP

Principal | Office Director

Drew Shively’s path to engineering started with a fascination for how things work, ranging from the sophisticated ambient soundscapes at Disney World, to radio control cars, to theatrical lighting and sound which, ultimately, ignited his desire to be an engineer.

Drew has been with ME Engineers since 2002. He has proven success engineering and managing teams for projects of all sizes and types and his projects range from large-scale stadium projects to convention centers, commercial developments and civic buildings. He is highly skilled at medium-voltage distribution, data center, generator and paralleling systems, and control systems.

His success is in understanding how people interact with and use the building being created by listening to the client and owner’s vision and needs and delivering systems that meet people’s needs in modern architecture. Drew has also implemented new communication tools to allow our teams to collaborate more efficiently, track ongoing status of topics, and document our systems more accurately.

Drew prizes the cross-fertilization of ideas among this diversity of projects and finds it rewarding to see what he works to accomplish being utilized and appreciated.
