Erik Pfeiffer

Erik Pfeiffer is a principal in our New York office and has been a part of the ME team since 2001. Throughout his career, he has helped to lead the design for many award-winning projects and has built lasting relationships with key partners.

Erik has experience across a wide variety of sectors; however, his specialty lies within designing large-scale systems, especially for research laboratories and medical facilities, and large mixed-use projects.

Engineering has been a passion for Erik’s entire life and his innate sense for mechanical systems enables him to provide innovative and holistic design solutions. His collaborative approach ensures a balanced, coordinated design and he works closely with clients to ensure their vision is delivered. He believes the key to delivering superior work is attention to detail and open and honest communication.

Erik is an advocate for the mentorship of young engineers and has led training efforts to ensure that the ME team is always enabled to deliver work with excellence.

He loves spending time outdoors skiing, hiking and camping. His other favorite pastime is making delicious home cooked meals.
