Ed Hornfeck

PE, P.Eng., LEED AP, CxA

Principal | Mechanical

Ed Hornfeck is a principal in our Denver office who began his career at ME Engineers in 2006. He has extensive experience designing mechanical and plumbing systems for sports projects ranging from the smallest community recreation centers to the largest professional sports & entertainment venues, located in the mildest climates to the most severe. His projects also include higher educational facilities and commercial projects.

For a guy who loved to take things apart to see how they worked, Ed gets the most enjoyment from seeing a concept progress from paper to reality. He loves working on unique projects and the challenge of designing a unique arena mechanical system to a particular architecture and function. Ed particularly enjoys working with the younger engineers at ME and relaying the lessons he learned from his mentors and personal experience on to the next generation of engineers.
