Wimbledon Centre Court Retractable Roof

The All England Lawn Tennis Club approached this project with the expectation of a world-class design worthy of the venue. Compounding this challenge was this Grand Slam venue’s use of a natural grass playing surface which required four season sunlight to support grass growth. ME Engineers delivered a solution that meant the end of rain delays at Wimbledon.
