Massive upgrade of systems to enhance energy performance including renovation of the central plant and equipment replacements phased to prevent disruption to critical areas
$13 million European Union funded Energy Performance Contract (EPC) to renovate the expansive teaching hospital campus. Energy saving measures around the site included refurbishment of the central plant and multiple equipment replacements. Work was designed and carried out to minimize vibration and disruption to the laboratories, including BSL4 labs, other spaces and their ventilation systems running through the same plant area as the chillers.
