Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport Redevelopment
Gunnison Colorado, United States
Airport terminal that runs on geothermal energy in one of the coldest towns in the U.S.
Renovation of a 40,000 SF airport terminal featuring a distributed geothermal heat pump system. Water circulates from a nearby geothermal field to air-source heat pumps, optimizing energy use based on occupancy detected by CO2 sensors. The system adjusts ventilation and conditioned air to enhance efficiency and comfort.
