Climate Pledge Arena

Renovations to the 800,000 SF historic landmark arena have transformed it into the world’s first certified zero-carbon arena. This ambitious project preserves the roof and building facade while fully renovating the interior. The arena serves as the home for the NHL’s Seattle Kraken and the WNBA’s Seattle Storm, as well as a premier concert destination.

All systems have been converted to 100% electric, eliminating the need for fossil fuels, while solar panels provide 100% renewable energy. The project has earned LEED Silver certification.
