ACEC award-winning project featuring open minded design solutions in a well-tuned system
This new 5-story, 72,000 SF facility contains a large 2-story black box theater, performance capture studio, green screen stage for HD video, art gallery, screening room, faculty offices, and support spaces delivered via a design-build format. Innovative energy efficiency strategies were used. The interior theater and gallery were designed with full climate controls. Smaller spaces and corridors are naturally ventilated. A cross ventilation and cooling system was developed through wind tunnel tests. LEED Platinum certified.
