Alpine Recreational Fields & Parking Garage, University of Colorado Colorado Springs

This $23 million project for the UCCS campus includes two new multi-purpose, open-air artificial turf athletic fields that are situated on top of a 4-story, 1,234-space parking garage. The fields are used for intramural and recreational use for soccer, rugby, lacrosse, and other events. They include seating for 84 people, sports lighting, restrooms, solar panels to power garage lights, and safety nets.
