The facility also incorporates a sound stage which provides a full sound and vision standing show, complete with concert experience special effects.

    This 7,500 sf visitor center at Grand Teton National Park is heated using ground source heat pump technology, and a night flush ventilation system is used to evacuate heat. Green technology includes solar power and composting toilets. LEED Platinum certified.

    The museum has 500,000 sf of display space for aircraft, spacecraft, and air travel memorabilia, a 485-seat theater, research library, public dining facility, and underground parking. The large expanses of glass that allow the aeronautical exhibits to be viewed against the sky created an air conditioning challenge solved by displacement air conditioning.
